Greg Ferrell and Matt Tracy Featured in Top 30 D-III Players by BuckeyeStateBaseball.com
(COLUMBUS, OH)--Mount Union junior outfielder Greg Ferrell (Uniontown/Green) and junior infielder Matt Tracy (Pittsburgh, PA/Central Catholic) were both listed among the Top 30 NCAA Division III Players heading into the 2010 season by BuckeyeStateBaseball.com.

Ferrell is a two time All-OAC selection who this past season hit
.381 with five home runs, 35 RBI, 56 hits, 18 doubles, and 12
steals and won a Rawlings National Gold Glove Award in
centerfield.
Tracy started all 38 games and lead the team in triples with four and on-base percentage while hitting .402, 26 RBI, 33 runs. Matt also had 13 multi-hit games and scored two or more runs nine times. He was also named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Second Team.
The duo are two of six returning starting position players along
all four starting pitchers back for a Mount Union team that went
20-18 a year ago.
Mount Union starts the season Saturday, March 6 at Marysville (TN)
before a week of games in Winter Haven, FL. The home opener
is Saturday, March 20 at 1 pm against Westminster (PA) at the 23rd
Street Field in Alliance.
