Greg Ferrell Named OAC Baseball Hitter of the Week

(AUSTINTOWN, OH)--Mount Union junior centerfielder Greg Ferrell (Uniontown/Green) has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week.

Ferrell was 14-of-24 from the plate last week for a .583 batting average with nine of those 14 hits for extra bases with a 1.208 slugging percentage.  He also did not commit an error in the field with 24 putouts and an outfield assist.

Mount Union went 4-2 on its southern trip in Tennessee and Florida.  The Raiders are scheduled to play tomorrow (Wed., Mar. 17) at 4 pm at Walsh.
