The matchup: Mount Union plays its second straight and third road game of the year Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Wilmington.

Raiders Blitz The Berg: Mount Union matched a season-high with 6.0 sacks and forced two fumbles on defense then rolled up 601 yards of offense in a 59-17 win last week at Heidelberg.

Tom Lally (Fairview Park/Lakewood St. Edward) led the charge on defense with seven tackles, three for loss, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble as the Raiders held Heidelberg to a season-low 244 yards.

On offense, Mount Union quarterback Taurice Scott (Alliance/Alliance) threw for 296 yards and two touchdowns and ran in another, Logan Nemeth (McBain, Mich./McBain) ran for 124 yards and three touchdowns, Bradley Mitchell (Detroit, Mich./South Lake) ran for two more scores while Tim Kennedy (Hudson/Hudson) had 122 yards receiving.

Logan's Run: Logan Nemeth matched his career-high with three rushing touchdowns at Heidelberg.  It was the third time in four weeks that he reached the end zone three times in a game.  He leads NCAA Division III with 14 rushing touchdowns on the season ... same number Leonard Fournette of LSU has on the season. Cameron Mcdondle of NCAA D-II Colorado St.-Pueblo leads the nation with 17 rushing touchdowns so far this year.
Quaker Comeback Comes Up Short: Wilmington saw a fourth quarter rally come up short in a 21-14 loss at Baldwin Wallace last week.  The Quakers led 7-0 early but BW scored 21 straight points to lead 21-7 starting the fourth, Wilmington scored a touchdown but a drive stalled late and the Jackets ran out the clock.

Starting quarterback Luke Creditt was injured in the game and Brandon Mitchell came of the bench and threw two TD passes.  Aroyal Wright had five catches for 111 yards and a touchdown to lead the offense.  Tarrell Starckey had 16 tackles and forced fumble while David Henry had 2.5 sacks to pace the defense.

The series: This is the 18th meeting between the teams with Mount Union holding a 17-0 lead in the series. The series started with a 43-0 Mount Union victory on Nov. 9, 1968 in Wilmington and the return game in 1969 was a 70-0 Raider win in Alliance. After that the teams did not play until Wilmington became a member of the OAC in 2000. A year ago, Mount Union scored 42 points in the first quarter and won 74-7.  The Raiders have not played at Wilmington since 2012 -- a 66-0 win.

Raiders Top Defense: Mount Union enters this week ranked No. 1 in total defense (152.7 yds/game) and scoring defense (5.2 ppg) and No. 2 in passing yards allowed (90.2 yds/game).

Scouting the Quakers: Wilmington has dropped five straight games since beating Bluffton in its opener.  The Quakers are No. 8 in the OAC in both total defense (447.0 yds/gm) and total offense (316.7 yds/gm).

Three defenders are among OAC leaders as senior defensive back Amari Bryant is tied for the conference lead with two interceptions, fellow senior defensive back Tarrell Starckey is fifth in the conference in tackles while junior defensive lineman David Henry has 5.0 sacks.

On offense, sophomore quarterback Luke Creditt has completed 51-percent of his passes (59-of-115) for 763 yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions.  Creditt was injured after completing five of his first six passes last week at Baldwin Wallace and his status for this week is unknown. Senior receiver Justin Lee is his top target with 35 catches for 439 yards and three TDs while junior Chase Manica is the top running back with 52 carries for 258 yards and a score.

Staying Regular: Mount Union has won 99-straight regular season games dating back to 2005.  The Raiders won 110-straight regular season games from 1994-2005. Mount Union is 209-1 in its last 210 regular season games.

Captains: Alex Kocheff, Tom Lally, Taurice Scott and Hank Spencer will be Mount Union's 2015 captains.

Gimmie Five: Mount Union junior Bradley Mitchell (Detroit, Mich./South Lake) is fifth all-time at Mount Union with 3,071 career rushing yards and 37 rushing touchdowns.

Lally Leaving His Mark: Senior defensive lineman Tom Lally had a pair of sacks last week which moved him into third place on Mount Union's career list.  He has 28.0 sacks which leaves him behind Charles Dieuseul (2009-12) with 29.5 and James Herbert (2006-09) with 31.5.  Lally also had 3.0 tackles for loss last week which takes him 50.5 overall which fifth most at Mount Uniion.  Dieuseul holds the record there with 56.5 tackles for loss.

Taurice Throws Season High: Senior Taurice Scott (Alliance/Alliance) threw for a season and career best 296 yards at Heidelberg.  He is the OAC's highest rated passer (157.6 rating).
Katching Kennedy: Junior Tim Kennedy (Hudson/Hudson) had his third career 100-yard receiving performance with 122 yards on eight catches last week including a career-best 60-yard reception that set up the Raiders first touchdown.  Kennedy leads the team with 32 catches so far this season.
