LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Long snapper Andy Rieman (Mount Vernon) will represent Mount Union at the 2018 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, Saturday, January 20 at 4 p.m. at the Rose Bowl.

Rieman is a three-year letterwinner who has played in all 44 games the past three seasons and was on both the 2015 and 2017 NCAA Division III national championship teams.

Rieman is one of two NCAA Division III players in the game (Brandon Shed - Hobart) while the game also features NCAA Division I players such as Toledo quarter Logan Woodside.

The college football all-star season continues with the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday. This annual spotlight of draft-eligible prospects is sponsored by the NFL Players Association and features players with a slightly lower profile than the other postseason exhibitions. The game itself kicks off at 4 p.m. ET on FS1 (live streams at Fox Sports Go and FuboTV).

Much like the Senior Bowl and East-West Shrine Game, the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is a showcase for up-and-coming NFL talent trying to impress scouts in attendance. In a bit of irony, the game is often the least important part of the process —the real emphasis is on the week of practice beforehand, when young players will be working with NFL coaches and schemes for the first time.

This year's teams are led by Mike Martz and Darrell Green, with Martz coaching the National team. Green is making his head-coaching debut here when he leads the American team.
