Pro Football Hall of Fame to Host OAC Football Media Day Thursday July 26

The 2018 Ohio Athletic Conference Football Media Day will be held Thursday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Mount Union enters the season with a nation's best 15 game win-streak and ranked No. 1 in national preseason polls. In 2017, the Purple Raiders went 15-0, won its 28th OAC title and record 13th NCAA Division III National Championship.

At the media day, each of the OAC's 10 head coaches will give a preview of their team's upcoming season, while a student-athlete from each institution will take a couple of questions at the podium from conference commissioner Tim Gleason.

Vince Kehres, in his sixth year as a head coach, and senior linebacker and team captain Danny Robinson (Massillon / Massillon Washington) will represent Mount Union at the podium.

After lunch the conference's preseason media and coaches polls will be announced followed by coaches and players being made available for one-on-one interviews.

The OAC Bill Nichols Media Service Award named in honor of the long-time Cleveland Plain Dealer writer will also be presented to Chris Wenzler, assistant atheltic director for communications at John Carroll.

The Raiders first practice is Tuesday, August 7, photo day on campus is Thursday, August 16 at 8 a.m. at Mount Union Stadium.
