No. 2 ranked University of Mount Union hosts Hanover in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Division III Football Playoffs Saturday, Nov. 23 at 12 pm at Mount Union Stadium.

The Purple Raiders are 10-0 overall, and won their 30th Ohio Athletic Conference title to claim one of 27 automatic bids to the tournament.
Mount Union has an 103-17 record in NCAA Playoff games and the Raiders have advanced to the Stagg Bowl 21 times since 1993 with a record 13 National Championships.
Mount Union has now made the tournament a record 31 times and 28 years in row.
Hanover, located in Hanover, Indiana, is 9-1 overall and making its eighth NCAA Playoff appearance as champions of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
The Panthers have a 1-7 record in the NCAA Playoffs.
It will be the second-ever meeting between the teams with Mount Union winning the previous meeting 52-18 in an NCAA First Round matchup in 1995 at Mount Union Stadium.
The game will be broadcast LIVE on the radio on 1310AM WDPN and WRMU 91.1 FM.
The winner of this game will take on the winner of a matchup between North Central (Ill.) and Wabash (Ind.) Saturday, November 30 at noon at a location to be announced.
