Football: Mount Union's Kordell Ford Nominee For Cliff Harris Award

Mount Union junior safety Kordell Ford (Massillon / Washington) has been named a nominee for the 2019 Cliff Harris Award, given to the nation's top small college defensive player.

Ford started all 12 games for the Purple Raiders this season and had 53 tackles with 8.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, a fumble recovery and an interception. He earned the Ohio Athletic Conference Lee Tressel Award as the conference's top defensive back and was an All-OAC first team selection.
