Raider Rewind: Two More Classic Mount Union Games on TV and Online

Two more classic Mount Union football games are on tap to be broadcast by WIVM-TV in Canton and simulcast online Saturday, April 18.

WIVM-TV is on channel 39 over the air, channel 989 on Spectrum cable in Stark County and online at WIVMTV.com. Fans can also add the LiveStream app on their smart TV and search for WIVM.

At 2 p.m., the station will broadcast a 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference game between Mount Union and Heidelberg at Mount Union Stadium. It was a homecoming game featuring a pair of nationally ranked teams. The 2012 highlight film will be shown after the game.

At 8 p.m., the station will broadcast a 1998 NCAA playoff matchup between Mount Union and Albion (Mich.) in Alliance. The teams had combined to win four of the last five national titles. The 1998 highlight film will be shown after the game.

In between the two Mount Union games, WIVM will broadcast a 2019 version of the "Backyard Brawl" with the high school football game between Alliance and Marlington.

Joe Tait, Harry Paidas and Jeff Shreve have been part of the broadcast team and Image Video of North Canton produced all the games and operates WIVM-TV.
