Mount Union to Host 2012 Running With The Raiders Boys Basketball Camps
University of Mount Union head men's basketball coach Mike Fuline will host two basketball camps for boys entering grades 5-12. The Overnight Skills Camp will be July 1-3 while the Running with the Raiders Shooting/Defense Skills Camp will be July 11-13 at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex in Alliance.

Fuline, Men's Basketball Begin OAC Tournament with Trip to Ohio Northern
The Mount Union men’s basketball team seeks its first victory in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament since 2005 when the No. 7 seed Purple Raiders travel to No. 6 seed Ohio Northern for a first round Monday at 7:30 pm in Ada, Ohio. This is the first year of the renovated conference tournament that rewards regular play by giving the top two seeds a double-bye to the semfinals. With a win, the Purple Raiders would travel to No. 3 seed Marietta Tuesday night for a quarterfinal game.

Hot Start Not Enough as Men’s Basketball Falls to Ohio Northern in OAC Tourney Opener
ADA, Ohio—Branden Rushton sank a pair of free throws with 2.5 seconds remaining in a tied game as the Mount Union men’s basketball team fell to host No. 6 seed Ohio Northern in Monday night’s Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament first round matchup, 56-52. The Purple Raiders finished the season 11-15, which is a one-game improvement from last season.
