GAME PREVIEW - Mount Union Heads To Michigan To Take On Adrian
Mount Union (1-3) takes to the road for its farthest non-conference road game of the season, Wednesday (Nov. 28) when it takes on Adrian College (Mich) at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center with tipoff scheduled for 5:30 pm.
The Purple Raiders traveled to Hiram to take on the Terriers in their last game (Sat. Nov 24), but came out on the short end falling 93-84. Freshman Jarrett Ruffin (Northfield/Nordonia) led the way for the Raiders with 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds, which were both season-highs for Ruffin.
Sophomore Nate Jacubec (Struthers/Struthers) had 19 points for the second straight game, and has scored double figures in all four games this season.
Adrian has a perfect 4-0 record on the season with wins over Otterbein (61-49), at No. 13 Wooster (57-56), at Siena Heights 62-40 and at Marygrove in its last game (80-55).
The Bulldogs are part of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Assoication and last season had a 17-9 record and advanced to their conference final where they were defeated by Hope 65-62 (OT).
Eric Lewis leads the Bulldogs with 19.0 points and 2.5 steals, is tied for the team lead with 6.8 rebounds.

Coaches
Mike Fuline (Kent State '98) is 13-18 in his second season as head coach at Mount Union after a successful career at the high school level that included winning the 2010 OHSAA Division I State Championship at Massillon Jackson.
Mark White (Adrian College '88) is 49-34 in his fourth season as head coach, and has led the Bulldogs to 45 wins the past three seasons.
