 Mount Union's men's basketball team (5-9, 3-4 OAC) travels to Wilmington (6-7, 3-4 OAC) for an Ohio Athletic Conference game Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm.

This will be the 25th meeting all-time between the two schools with Mount Union holding a 14-10 advantage in the series. The Quakers won both of the matchups last season, 75-71 in overtime and 75-61 at Wilmington

MOUNT UNION

The Purple Raiders are coming off a 97-90 loss on the road to Marietta in their last game .The Raiders led by as much as 11 points in the first half, but had a tough time defending J.J. Martin who scored a game-high 33 points to lead the Pioneers in the victory.

COACH

Mike Fuline (Kent State '98) is in his second season as head coach at Mount Union and has compiled a 16-24 record as head coach of the Purple Raiders.  Prior to becoming head coach of the Raiders, Fuline had a successful coaching career at the high school level that included winning the 2010 OHSAA Division I State Championship at Massillon Jackson.  Prior to coach at Massillon, he was the head coach at Rootstown high school (2003-2005). At Rootstown, his 2003-04 team posted a 16-6 record and won a sectional championship while his 2004-05 team went 20-4, shared the league title and won a district championship. Fuline was named 2004 Ohio's Division III Co-Coach of the Year.

Wilmington

The Pioneers come into Saturday's game having defeated Otterbein 72-61 their last game. 

Last season, Wilmington compiled a 15-13 overall record and went 10-8 in the conference. The Pioneers return two starters who started at least 20 games a season ago, where they earned the number five seed in the OAC tournament and earned a berth in the conference championship with wins over the number eight seed Otterbein (76-65) and the number four seed Baldwin Wallace (76-63).  In the championship, they were defeated by the number two seed Capital 70-60.

 COACH

K.C. Hunt (Ohio State'95) is in his five season as head coach at Wilmington and has compiled an 69-44 as coach of the Quakers. In the 2009-2010 season, Hunt coached has coached the Quakers to a school- record 22 victories and their first OAC championship and NCAA tournament appearance. Prior to joining the Quakers staff in 2004, Hunt coached at Hunt coached at St. Lawrence University, Dublin Coffman and Perry high schools. He played collegiately at Hunt played collegiate basketball at Wichita State University, and finished his career in the top 10 all-time in both steals and assists
