The Purple Raiders enter the matchup with a six game win streak, the longest since the 2002-03 season, and an 8-2 overall record and a perfect 4-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Mount Union comes off two victories in the M-Club Classic in Alliance – 68-49 win over Adrian (Mich.) on December 28, and a 104-97 win over Olivet (Mich.) on December 29.

Sophomore Jarrett Ruffin (Northfield/Nordonia) is coming off his career-best performance as he scored 31 points in the win over Olivet. The sophomore was one of five players in double digits, sophomore Cody Dillon (Newton Falls/ Newton Falls) had 14, senior T.J. Gillespie (Toledo/Toledo St. John's) and junior Nate Jacubec (Struthers/Struthers) each scored 12 points and sophomore Kyle Scelza (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) notched 10. Ruffin led the Raiders on the weekend as he racked up 42 total points and grabbed nine rebounds.

The Titans enter the matchup with 1-8 record and 0-2 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Westminster is coming off their first win of the 2013-14 season with a 82-71 win over Penn-State Altoona on December 21 in Westminster.

Anthony Thomas led Westminster to their first victory as he scored game-high 23 points and was one of four players to score in double-figures, joining Thomas were Paul Carswell with 18, Charlie Wallander with 11 and Matt Getsy with 10 points.

Last Year's Meeting: Titans Take Down Raiders 67-58
As part of the Buzz Ridl Classic in 2012, the Purple Raiders traveled to Westminster, Pa. to take on the Titans. Dispite the double-double effort from Jacubec (13 points and 10 rebounds), the Raiders lost to Westminster 67-58. Anthony Thomas led the way with 19 points and chipped in four assists.
