Mike Bluey enters his second year as an assistant men's basketball coach at Mount Union.

Bluey served as an assistant coach for Mount Union head coach Mike Fuline for seven years at both Rootstown and Massillon Jackson High Schools.

He also spent four years at Akron Springfield High School, serving as the head coach for three seasons, while also spending five years as an assistant coach at Kennedy Catholic High School in Sharon, Pa.

The Fairview, Pa. native, has a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University, a master's degree from Marygrove (Mich.) College and is a Health, Physical Education and Career Intervention teacher at Tallmadge High School.
