Jon Lieser Named OAC Men's Golfer of the Week

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Mount Union junior Jon Lieser (Minerva/Minerva) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.

Lieser carded a 165 (82-83) to finish in a tie for seventh overall at the Rossin Memorial this past weekend outside of Pittsburgh, Pa.

He also led Mount Union to a third place team finish at the event.

Lieser had a stroke average of 78.1 for the Fall season.

He and the rest of the Purple Raiders will not take the course again until early March when they take their annual Spring Break trip to Pinehurst, N.C.
