Zenobi Three Shots Off Lead After Career-Low Round at Malone Spring Tournament

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union sophomore Kyle Zenobi (Novelty/West Geagua) had a career-low round of 74 in round one of the Malone Spring Tournament at Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance.

Zenobi is tied for eighth place and three shots back of first round leader Jay Hollifield of Malone, who had a 70.

Zenobi is one of six Purple Raiders entered in the tournament as individuals.

Freshmen Matt Dunning (Brunswick/Brunswick) and Josh Heckathorn (North Canton/Hoover) also had season-low scores with 79 and are tied for 16th place.

The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Saturday.
