Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at John Carroll and Poppa Flowers Invite

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The Mount Union men's golf team placed fifth out of nine teams at the John Carroll and Poppa Flowers Invitational.

Ben Lehrke (North Ridgeville/Lutheran West) and Dillon Bright (Granville/Granville) led Mount Union as they tied for seventh place with a 77.

The Purple Raiders complied 314 strokes as a team and finished two strokes behind John Carroll "B" squad and 11 strokes behind host and invite winner John Carroll "A" squad.

The Raiders next compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Invitational at Columbia Hills Golf Course in Columbia Station on Sept. 21.
