Men's Golf: Raiders Tied For Fifth After First Round of Gatorade Collegiate

DOVER, Ohio -- The Mount Union men's golf team sits tied for fifth place after day one of the Gatorade Collegiate at Zoar Village Golf Course in Dover, Ohio.

The Purple Raiders posted a 302 team score that has them tied with Heidelberg, two shots behind Capital and Adrian (Mich.) and three shots back of second place Allegheny (Pa.).

Ohio Wesleyan stands in first place with a 282.

Mount Union was led by sophomore Sean Croell (Newton Falls / Newton Falls) who carded a two-over-par 74, which has him in ninth place overall and junior Buster Thomas (Cortland/Lakeview) with a 75 at 15th overall.

The second and final round is slated for Sunday.
