CANONSBURG, Pa.- The Mount Union Men's Golf Team concluded the Peter C. Rossin Memorial in third place.
The Purple Raiders carded a team score of 327, ten better than the first round, yielding a 664 for the tournament. Thomas Moore College held on to first place, finishing with a 634 on the two-day total.
The Raiders were led by junior Buster Thomas (Cortland/Lakeview) through the tournament who shot a 77 in the second round and a final score of 162 to finish tied for sixth. Next in line was junior Matt Dudley (Canal Fulton/Northwest), shooting an 84 in the second round and a final score of 166 and placed 11th.
Mount Union will conclude the fall season with the Phipps Memorial on Monday, October 17 at Congress Lake C.C. in Hartville, Ohio.
