Men's Golf: Mount Union Holds Sixth Place After Day One of Gatorade Collegiate Invitational

LAWRENCE, Ohio -- Mount Union holds the sixth position after day one at the Gatorade Collegiate Invitational at Zoar Golf Club.

The Purple Raiders shot a total of 306 led by junior Luke Engle (Maysville / Zanesville) who shot 75 to sit a tie for 11th place

Behind Engle were seniors Buster Thomas (Lakeview / Cortland) and Matt Dudley (Northwest / Canal Fultonwho each carded a 76 and are tied for 17th.

Rounding out the top five for the Raiders were juniors Sean Croell (Newton Falls / Newton Falls) and Andrew Thompson (New Albany / New Albany) who each shot 79.

Sophomores Bryce Hood (Alliance / Alliance) and Matt Eddins (Louisville / Lousiville) played as individuals and shot 78 and 82 respectively. 

Mount Union will play in day two of the Gatorade Collegiate Invitational tomorrow at Zoar Golf Club.
