SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The Mount Union men's golf team won the John DiCillo Memorial Invitational by six shots over John Carroll after shooting a 304 at Shaker Heights Country Club.
Senior, Matt Dudley (Canal Fulton / Northwest) was the medalist at the Invite shooting a 72 to lead the Purple Raiders for his first career medalist honor.
Sophomore, Isaac Davidson (East Liverpool / East Liverpool) finished fourth overall after firing a 75. Dudley's classmate, Buster Thomas (Cortland / Lakeview), fired a 76 which was good enough for fifth overall. Anthony Graziano (Girard / Girard), a freshman, shot an 81 which was tied for 16th. Rounding out the five for the Raiders was sophomore Bryce Hood (Alliance / Alliance) who tied for 25th shooting an 83.
The Purple Raiders will be back on the course this Sunday and Monday at the OAC Fall Invitational at Pine Hills Golf Club in Medina.
