Men's Golf: Raiders Compete in Day One of Nye Intercollegiate

WOOSTER, Ohio--Mount Union's men's golf team shot a round score of 318 to sit tied for ninth place after day one of the NYE Intercollegiate tournament Saturday at Wooster Country Club. 

The Purple Raiders were led by Luke Engle (Zanesville / Maysville) who carded a 77 for 16th place. Fellow classmate Tyler Ellis (Brook Park / Berea-Midpark) finished two strokes behind Engle shooting a 79. 

Sophomore Jacob Feldner (Cambridge) finished day one right behind Ellis with an 80 while seniors Andrew Thompson (New Albany) and Sean Croell (Newton Falls) rounded out the Raider scorecard with an 82 and 87 respectively. 

Mount Union wraps up the NYE Intercollegiate tomorrow April 14 at Wooster Country Club.
