Men's Golf: Raiders Sit in Seventh After Day One of OAC Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's golf team sits in seventh after shooting a team total of 304 on day one of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Friday at River Greens Golf Course. 

The Purple Raiders were led by senior Luke Engle (Zanesville / Maysville) and junior Matt Eddins (Louisville) who both finished tied for 11th after shooting a 75.

The rest of the Mount Union scorecard came from seniors Tyler Ellis (Brook Park / Berea-Midpark) and Sean Croell (Newton Falls) who carded a 76 and 78 respectively while fellow classmate Andrew Thompson (New Albany) rounded out the Raider scoresheet shooting an 85. 

Mount Union returns for day two tomorrow, May 4 for a 9 a.m. tee time at River Greens Golf Course.
