Men's Golf: Mount Union Second at John Carroll Invitational

SHAKER HTS., Ohio - Mount Union's men's golf team came in second place with a 306 at the John Carroll John DiCillo Invitational held Monday at Shaker Heights Country Club.

The Purple Raiders were 12 shots behind tournament winner and host John Carroll (294).

Mount Union was led by senior Matt Eddins (Louisville) and junior Jacob Feldner (Cambridge) who both carded 75's to finish in a tie for eighth place.

Senior Kilian May (Zanesville / Newark Catholic) shot a 77 to place 17th and freshman Ian Smith (Cambridge) rounded out the team score with a 79 to come in 23rd.

The Raiders next host the Mount Union Fall Invitational Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21-22 at Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance.
