ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Mount Union men's golf team sits in first place after day one of the Mount Union Invitational hosted Saturday at Tannenhauf Golf Course.
The Purple Raiders shot a team season-low of 291. Leading Mount Union was senior Matt Eddins (Louisville) who carded a career and season-low round of 67 putting him in first place. Junior Jacob Feldner (Cambridge) and sophomore Eric Summers (Dalton) both shot a 73 tying them for fourth place. Rounding out the team score was senior Killian May (Zanesville / Newark Catholic) tying for 24th place, recording a 78.
Mount Union concludes the invitational Sunday, Sept. 22 with 18 holes.
