Mount Union's men's lacrosse team plays a non-conference game at St. Vincent College Saturday at 2 pm in Latrobe, Pa.

The Purple Raiders are 0-1 after a 10-3 loss at Wooster this past Thursday.

St. Vincent, a member of the Presidents Athletic Conference, has not played a game yet in 2014. The Bearcats went 6-9 in 2013.

Against Wooster, Mount Union got a pair of goals from Toren Moore (Columbus/Hilliard Darby), a goal from Jack Wesner (Medina/Medina) and an assist from Michael Taylor (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Hts.).

Goalkeeper Colin Peters (Portland Ore./Sunset) had 19 saves and seven ground balls to pace the defense for the Raiders.

Mount Union opens the home portion of its 2014 schedule next week with games Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7 pm against Oberlin and Saturday, March 1 at 1 pm against Washington & Jefferson (Pa.).
