Men's Lacrosse: Mount Union Hosts Baldwin Wallace Wednesday in Regular Season Home Finale

Mount Union's men's lacrosse team hosts Baldwin Wallace in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup Wednesday at 7 pm at Mount Union Stadium in Alliance.

The Purple Raiders are 11-3 overall and at 3-0 in the OAC are tied with Otterbein in first place in the conference.

Mount Union has won 10-straight games including an 16-6 win against Wilmington last Friday.

On the season, freshman Chris Daley (Wilmington, Del./Dupont) has a team-best 34 points on 18 goals and 16 assists, sophomore Hogan Harris (Medina/Medina) had a team-high 24 goals while sophomore Michael Taylor (Broadview Hts/Brecksville-Broadview Hts) has 20 goals.

In total nine different Raiders have at least 12 goals on the season.

Collin Peters (Portland, Ore./Sunset) has started all 14 games in goal and tops the Ohio Athletic Conference in wins (11) and goals against average (6.60).

Mike Richardson (Parma/Holy Name) leads the team with 44 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers.

Baldwin Wallace is 6-5 overall and 1-2 in the OAC.  The Yellow Jackets have lost two-straight games including a 10-7 loss at John Carroll last Saturday.

Vinny Carson has a team highs in points (40), goals (24) and assists (16). 

Alex Fioritto 66 ground balls and is 99-of-174 in faceoffs.

Jake Harders has started all 11 games in goal and has an 8.32 goals against average.

Mount Union closes out the regular season Saturday at 2 pm at Otterbein in Westerville, Ohio.

Mount Union hosts Baldwin Wallace next Wednesday night at 7 pm at Mount Union Stadium in Alliance.
