Men's Lacrosse: Mount Union Hosts Olivet (Mich.) in Non-Conference Matchup

The Mount Union's men's lacrosse team will host Olivet (Mich.) in a non-conference matchup Wednesday night at Mount Union Stadium. The game will start at 7:30 p.m.

What: Mount Union (3-1, 0-0 OAC) vs. Olivet (0-4, 0-0 MIAA) 

When: Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Mount Union Stadium—Alliance, Ohio

Series: Mount Union leads the all-time series, 1-0. The last meeting between these two teams resulted in a 15-7 win for the Raiders (3/30/13).

Game Preview:

Mount Union enters the matchup off a 12-9 win over Washington and Jefferson (Pa.).

The Purple Raiders (3-1) were led by Chris Daley (Wilmington, Del./Dupont) and Kyle Adams(St. Catharines, Ontario/St. Francis Catholic) with three goals each.

Daley leads the team in goals (13), while Javin Re (Chantilly, Va./Chantilly) leads in groundballs (13). Collin Peters (Portland,Ore/Sunset) also has 28 saves for the season. 

Olivet enters the game off a 15-12 loss to Benedictine (Ill.). Dakota Badder led Olivet in the effort with four goals and four assists. Ryan McGee recorded six saves.

Badder leads the team in goals (12), Charlie Haesler leads the team in ground balls (17), and McGee leads in saves with 45.
