ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Chris Daley (Wilmington, Del./Dupont) had a career-best six goals to lead Mount Union to a 19-6 win over Westminster (Pa.) in a non-conference men's lacrosse game Thursday at Mount Union Stadium.

Daley, who now has 97 career goals, also had an assist to give him seven points while teammate Brent Greenberg (Gaithersburg, Md / Quince Orchard) also had seven points with five goals and two assists as the Purple Raiders are now 3-2 on the season.

Westminster (1-2) got three goals from Ryan Shorts and the Titans led 1-0 as he assisted on a man-up goal from Luke Ostoyic just under two minutes into the game.

Daley then scored two straight unassisted goals to start a 5-0 run as the Raiders led 5-1 at the end of the first quarter.

Mount Union would score four more goals in the second quarter to lead 9-1 at the break.

Westminster then scored two of the first three goals of the second half to bring the score to 10-3 but the Raiders scored four unanswered including two more from Daley to lead 14-3 after three quarters.

Mount Union out-paced Westminster 5-3 in the final quarter for the 19-6 final.
