Men's Lacrosse: Holt's Hat Trick Leads Raiders to OAC Opening Win at Wilmington

ALLIANCE, Ohio – A hat trick by Hunter Holt (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) led Mount Union's men's lacrosse team to a 12-3 win at Wilmington in the Ohio Athletic Conference Saturday in Wilmington.

Holt scored two of his three goals in a first half that saw the Purple Raiders jump out to a 9-1 lead as Mount Union evened its record at 4-4 overall and 1-0 in the OAC.

Aside from Holt, Mount Union also got two goals each from Alek Kungle (Hudson), Paul Gill (Centreville, Md. / Queen Anne's County) and Evan Eifert (Cincinnati / Moeller).

Wilmington (3-4, 0-1 OAC) got two goals from Connor Judge in the loss.

Mount Union next plays in an OAC matchup Friday at 1 p.m. at Ohio Northern in Ada.
