Welch and Bondra Earn Awards From Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association

(WILMINGTON, OH)--Mount Union men's soccer players T.J. Welch (Columbia Station/Columbia) and Chris Bondra (Mentor/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) both earned awards from the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association.

Welch earned All-Ohio Third Team honors and was the third Mount Union player to win Ohio Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year honors, was also an All-OAC First Team while he ranked among the top-10 in the conference in points (18) and goals (8).

Bondra was named to the Academic All-Ohio First Team by the coaches.  An All-OAC Second Team selection on the field, while off the field he is an accounting major with a 3.46 grade point average that was also an Academic All-OAC selection.
