Men's Soccer: Purple Raiders Unable to Bounce Back in 4-1 Loss

GAMBIER, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's soccer team rallied but came up short in a 4-1 loss at Kenyon Saturday in Gambier, Ohio.

Tony Amolo scored the first of his two goals on the day in the third minute to give Kenyon (3-2) an early 1-0 lead.

Senior Chris Felker (Boardman/Cardinal Mooney) would score his third of the season to tie the game at 1-1 as he scored on a ball from freshman Kevin Blackley (Aurora/Aurora) in the sixth minute.

Amolo would break the tie with a score in the 21st minute while the Lords tallied scores in the 39th and 55th minutes for the 4-1 final.

Freshman Dylan Lias (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Falls) got his first start in the goal for the Raiders and had 11 saves on the day.

Mount Union gets back on the pitch Sunday traveling to Granville to face off against Denison at 4 p.m.
