Men's Soccer: Mount Union Drops Season Opener at Case Western Reserve

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Mount Union men's soccer team dropped its season opener at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland tonight by a score of 1-0.

The Purple Raiders were outshot 14-12, but the Raiders did have chances with six shots on goal and five corner kicks. 

The game's only goal came in the first minute off the foot of CWRU's Michael Balog.

Mount Union stays on the road playing at Washington and Jefferson (Pa.) Monday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. in Washington, Pa.
