Mount Union's Hlas and Wikle Sweep OAC Weekly Awards

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio—Mount Union senior goalkeeper Zach Hlas (Medina) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, while sophomore Rylan Wikle (Olmsted Falls) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week (9/25).

Hlas had five saves over his two games this week while collecting his fourth shutout this year and 14th of his career while Wikle scored three goals in the two games including a pair of goals within the last eight minutes to give the Raiders a 2-1 victory over Geneva (Pa.) and his third goal being a game winner over Denison.

This is the third time this year Hlas has been the Defensive Player of the Week and his fifth time in his career while Wikle is earning his first career Offensive Player of the Week.

Mount Union closes out its non-conference schedule Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. against Penn-St. Berhend at Mount Union Stadium.
