Men's Soccer: Raiders Stung in Overtime at BW

BEREA, Ohio – Mount Union's mens's soccer team fell 2-1 in overtime at Baldwin Wallace in an Ohio Athletic Conference game Wednesday night at George Finnie Stadium.

The loss drops the Purple Raiders to 9-3-4 and 3-2-3 in the OAC while Baldwin Wallace moves its record to 11-8 overall and 4-4 in the OAC.

The first half saw multiple shots from both teams, but the goalies stood tall to keep it tied 0-0 at the break.

Baldwin Wallace started the scoring in the second half with a goal by Reed Watkins in the 60th minute.

Sophomore Adam Passino (Maumee / Anthony Wayne) scored his first career goal in the 80th minute to tie the game 1-1.

A Baldwin Wallace goal in the 97th minute gave the Yellow Jackets the win.

The Raiders will finish the regular season at Ohio Northern on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7:00 p.m. in Ada.
