Men's Swimming and Diving: Raiders Place Sixth in the Wooster Invitational

WOOSTER, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team finished sixth with a score of 825 at the Wooster Invitational on Saturday at Ellen Shapiro Natatorium.

Leading the way for the Purple Raiders on the final day was junior Cole Ellsworth (Temperance, Mich./Bedford).

Ellsworth finished sixth in the 500-yard freestyle, ninth in the 200-yard freestyle and second in the 1650-yard freestyle. 

Ellsworth was also a member of the yard-yard freestyle relay team that recorded a time of 1:25.73 with juniors Noah Kee (Canton/GlenOak), Logan Palochak (Hopewell), and sophomore Mark Silver (Painesville/Riverside). 

In diving events, freshman Ronnie Milam (Uniontown/Lake) placed ninth in 3-meter diving. 

The Purple Raiders face St. Vincent (Pa.) on Friday, December 7 with a 6 p.m. start time.
