Men's Swimming and Diving: Raiders Best Notre Dame College

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mount Union men's swimming and diving team defeated Notre Dame (Ohio) 145-60. 

The Purple Raiders (8-2, 2-2 OAC) were led by freshman Charles Marshall (Painesville / Riverside) with three first place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, and 200-yard freestyle relay with help from freshman Jason Tondra (Canton / Massillon Jackson), sophomore Brian Regovich (Willowick / Eastlake North), and senior Cole Ellsworth (Temperance, Mich. / Bedford). 

Other first place finishes came from 200-yard medley relay team sophomore Owen Zimmerman (Crawfordsville, Ind. / Southmont), junior Mark Silver (Painesville / Riverside), freshman Nathan Williams (Columbia, S.C. / Irmo), and senior Noah Kee (Canton / GlenOak), Ellsworth in the 1000-yard freestyle, Williams in the 400-yard IM, junior Derek Currey (McDonald, Pa. / West Allegheny) in the 100-yard butterfly, Tondra in the 100-yard freestyle, and Regovich in the 500-yard freestyle. 

The Raiders have a quick turn around traveling to Westmister (Pa.) tommorrow, Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m.
