Travis Papay Breaks Career Doubles Wins Record in Men's Tennis History
(ALLIANCE,OH)-- Mount Union senior Travis Papay
(Chagrin Falls/Kenston) broke the career doubles wins record in
Mount Union men's tennis history with his win on Sunday against
Marietta.
Papay now has 58 career doubles wins (58-26 career mark) for the
Purple Raiders, which passes Jeff McQuate (1998-2002) who
previously held the record.
Travis also is now tied for first with 119 total wins (singles and
doubles) in Mount Union men's history with senior Brian
Widdoes (Reynoldsburg/Reynoldsburg) after his wins against
Marietta. He has a career mark of 119-46 during his four years
