The number four seed Mount Union men's tennis team hosts the number five seed John Carroll in an Ohio Athletic Conference quarterfinal match Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Whitehill Tennis Courts.
The winner of Tuesday's match advances to the semifinal where they will play the winner of the number one seed Ohio Northern and the eight seed Wilmington.

The Purple Raiders enter Tuesday's match with an overall record of 14-5 and are 5-4 in conference play. They are currently on a three-match win streak with victories at Heidelberg (8-1), Marietta (8-1) and in their last match at Wilmington (9-0).
Nick Fockler (North Canton/Hoover), Ben Swope (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) and Dominic Marino (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Falls) are all tied for the team-lead with 15 singles victories. Fockler and Marino lead the team with seven conference singles wins.
The doubles pairing of brothers Nick Fockler and Nate Fockler (North Canton/Hoover) lead the Raiders with a 12-7 doubles victory. The pairing of Swope and Josh Duerr (Uniontown/Lake) lead the Raiders with a 6-3 conference doubles record.

The Blue Streaks enter Tuesday's match with an overall record of 5-12 and are 4-5 in league play. They are coming off a 6-3 defeat of Heidelberg in their last match.
Ryan Mullaney leads the Blue Streaks with a 12-6 singles record and a conference singles record of 7-2. The doubles pairing of Mullaney and Sean Graham lead the team with an overall doubles record of 12-5 and a conference doubles record of 7-2.

The OAC Tournament Final Four is played at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, which is home to professional tennis' Western & Southern Open. The stat-of-the-art facility has 10 courts and a main center court that has been the site of numerous professional and amateur championship events.
