Men's Tennis: Eight is Great; Mount Union Wins Eighth Consecutive Match

LEXINGTON, Ohio – Mount Union's tennis team achieved their sixth shutout of the season in a 9-0 Ohio Athletic Conference victory against Heidelberg (0-13, 0-5 OAC).

With a pair of wins in doubles and then proceeding to sweep the singles matches in two sets, the Purple Raiders have won eight consecutive matches, improving their record to 12-2 overall and 6-0 in the OAC.

Freshman Antonio Massucci (Ashtabula/St. John) secured the fifth point for Mount Union winning in singles 6-1, 6-0.

Mount Union is next in action on Tuesday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m. as they travel to University Heights, Ohio to face John Carroll.
