Men's Tennis: Raiders Suffer Tough Loss on the Road to John Carroll

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Mount Union men's tennis team fell to John Carroll (8-7, 6-0 OAC) 9-0 in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Friday afternoon at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion at Cleveland State University.

The Purple Raiders receive their first conference loss of the season as their record is now 12-3 overall and 6-1 in the OAC.

Despite the loss, freshman Mark Beebe (Chardon/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) was able to push his singles match to a competitive third set with scores of 2-6, 6-4, and 8-10.

Mount Union will close out the regular season next Saturday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Capital.
