Men's Tennis: Raiders Roll Past Penn State-Behrend

ERIE, Pa. - Mount Union's men's tennis team defeated Penn State-Behrend 7-2 in a non-conference match Wednesday. 

The Purple Raiders (1-0) swept the doubles matches then claimed four singles matches to secure the win.

Mount Union started the match getting wins at No. 1 doubles from Robert Cross (North Canton / Hoover) and Zach Teffner (Cortland / Lakeview) and No. 3 doubles from Jacob Barton (Madison) and Jacob Labonte (Erie, Pa. / Cathedral Prep).

Barton, Teffner, Tony Massucci (Ashtabula / St. John) and Justin Kelley (Uniontown / Lake) got wins at No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles respectively.

The Raiders finish the fall season Friday, Sept. 27 at 3:30 p.m. with a match at Washington & Jefferson in Washington, Pa.
