Charles Pratt Named OAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week

(AUSTINTOWN, OH)--Mount Union freshman Charles Pratt (Canton/GlenOak) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week.

Pratt finished second in both the 55 meter dash (6.58) and 200 meters (22.89) and combined with sophomore Cory Hoover (Alliance/Marlington), juniors Ben Russell (Columbus/Hilliard Davidson) and Kory Smerk (Middleberg Heights/Midpark) to win the 4x400 meter relay (3:28.26).

It marked the second week in a row that a Purple Raider won the conference's men's track honor as senior Scott Thomas (Salem/West Branch) won the award a week ago.

Mount Union competes this Saturday in the All-Ohio Indoor Championships at Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio.
