Griffin, Lutz Named to Division III All-Academic Team

ALLIANCE, Ohio--Mount Union student-athletes Ty Griffin and Judd Lutz were recently honored as members of the 2010 Division III All-Academic Men’s Track and Field Team. The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced 202 male honorees in total.

Griffin, the 2009 outdoor national champion in the 1,500-meter run, will be a senior in 2010-11.

Lutz, who graduated in May, was a three-time outdoor All-American in the discus and a two-time outdoor All-American in the shot put.
