The 2017 Ohio Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29 at McConagha Stadium at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio.
The top three finishers in every event earn All-OAC honors.
Mount Union swept both men's and women's team titles a year ago.
The Purple Raider men's team won its sixth straight and conference record 33rd title while the women won their seventh straight and eighth overall title.
On the men's side, the Raiders hold the top seed in nine different events.
Senior Alex Wilson (Macedonia/Nordonia) holds down the top seed in the 10,000 meters as Mount Union has three of the first four spots in the race while Wilson also has the top spot in the 5,000 meters followed closely by freshman Preston Myers (Alliance/Marlington) seeded second.
Berry, the defending conference champion in the 100 meters, is also the No. 3 seed in the 200 meters and both were part of a 4x100 meter relay team that won the conference title last year and are the top seed this year with sophomore Connor Troyer (Sugarcreek/Garaway) and Jalen McGill (Laurel, Md./High Point).
Troyer also holds the top spot and is the defending conference champ in the 110 meter hurdles.
Freshman AJ Digby (Tontogany/Otsego) and junior Tyler Neff (Navarre/Fairless) hold the top two spots in the 400 meters and are part of the top seeded 4x400 meter relay team with with freshman James Roth (Massillon/Massillon Perry) and sophomore Clark Etzler (Elida/Elida).
In the field events, freshman Matt Keim (Bolivar/Tusky Valley) is the No. 1 seed in the pole vault while the Raiders are in the top three places in the javelin led by senior Jaquill Scott (East Hanover, N.J. / Hanover Park), freshman Bryce Biskup (Irwin, Pa. / Penn-Trafford) and senior Adam Gundlah (Strongsville / Strongsville).
On the women's side, it is the Raider sprinters leading the way.
The Mount Union trio of junior Katie Goedecke (Cuyahoga Falls/Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) with freshmen Daijana Johnson (Alliance/Alliance) and Rachael Adams (Louisville/St. Thomas Aquinas) hold the top three spots in both the 100 and 200 meters and along with junior Steph Donley (Carrollton/Carrollton) own the top seed in the 4x100 meter relay.
The Raiders have two top seeds in field events as senior Courtney Berish (Mantua/Crestwood) leads the entries in the hammer throw and junior Dana Crofoot (Perry/Perry) is the top seed in the long jump.
