Men's Cross Country Places Sixth Overall at Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble

Leading the way for the Purple Raiders were junior Ty Griffin (Massillon/Massillon Perry) and senior Bryce Basista (North Ridgeville/Elyria Catholic).  Griffin and Basista were separated by only one second and one place in the final standings, coming in at 25th (25:46) and 26th (25:47), respectively.

Rounding out the top seven placers for Mount included junior Scott Wolfe (East Palestine/East Palestine) in 34th (26:03), senior Dan Whisler (Ashland/Ashland) in 37th (26:04), senior Michael Nadeau (Louisville/Louisville) in 56th (26:21), sophomore Tim Kelly (Lakewood/Lakewood) in 66th (26:26), and senior Bryan McIntyre (North Canton/Hoover) in 96th (26:48).

Mount Union will be competing next in two weeks (October 31st) at the OAC Championships hosted by Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio.
