Men's Cross Country Makes its Way Into USTFCCCA Regional Rankings
NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Mount Union's men's cross country team is ranked seventh in this week's United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Great Lakes Regional Rankings.
The Purple Raiders vaulted into the rankings after posting a second place finish at the Ric Sayre Walsh Invitational two weeks ago and a fourth place finish in a strong field at the Calvin Invitational last weekend in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Mount Union is led by a pair of seniors in Tim Kelly (Lakewood/Lakewood) and Erik Reed (East Liverpool/East Liverpool).
The Raiders next race is September 30 at the All-Ohio Championships at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.
