Men’s Cross Country Places First at Ric Sayre Invitational on Saturday

NORTH CANTON, Ohio – Mount Union's men's cross country team finished first at the 2013 Ric Sayre Invitational hosted by Walsh University on Saturday morning in North Canton, Ohio.

The Purple Raiders finished with 38 points and tied John Carroll for first place at the 2013 Ric Sayre Invitational. Mount Union's junior Dan McGeary (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) finished second at the invitational leading all Raider runners with a time of 26:10. 84.

Sophomore Alex Wilson (Macedonia/Nordonia) finished right behind McGeary as he came in at 26:11.38 in third place.

Mount Union will return to action Saturday, September 21 when they travel to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the Otterbein Invitational where the start time is set for 11 am.
