Men's Cross Country Takes First at OAC Championships in Westerville Saturday

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's cross country team finished first at the Ohio Athletic Conference championship hosted by Otterbein University.

The Purple Raiders finished first out of 10 teams with a total of 34 points, 22 points ahead of second place Ohio Northern, earning them their 27th OAC Title.

The Raiders were paced by Alex Wilson (Macedonia/Nordonia) who finished in first place with a time of 25:10.2. Dan McGeary (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) finished second with a time of 25:22.5.

Three other runners finished in the top 15 with Dylan Garritano (Akron/St. Vincent-St. Mary) in fifth with a time of 25:47.9, Jacob Boyer (East Liverpool/East Liverpool) finished 11th with a time of 26:04.8 and Matthew ONeil (Woodridge, Va./Pope John Paul the Great Catholic) finished in 15th (26:12.0).
