LOGAN TWP., N.J. -- The Mount Union's men's cross country team placed 22nd at the Rowan (N.J.) Border Battle Saturday in New Jersey.

The Purple Raiders tallied 616 points which was just four points behind 21st place Allegheny (Pa.).

Leading the team was junior Jon Bach (Wadsworth/Wadsworth) with a season-best time of 26:32.4 as he took 108th for the men's 8k race.

Mount Union next competes at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Saturday, Oct. 27 at Sable Creek Golf Club in Hartville, Ohio.
