HARTVILLE, Ohio -- The Mount Union men's cross country team placed fourth at the 2018 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Saturday in Hartville.
The Purple Raiders finished with 107 points to push past fifth place Baldwin Wallace's 108. Otterbein took home the team title with 38 points, followed by John Carroll with 64 and Ohio Northern with 77.
Ohio Northern's Ian McVey was the individual champion for the second year in a row with a time of 26:04.6.
Junior Jon Bach (Wadsworth/Wadsworth) led the Raiders as he earned First Team All-OAC honors with a ninth place finish at 26:43.0. Finishing 14th to receive Second Team All-OAC was junior Jared Marsh (Massillon/Massillon Jackson), who posted a time of 27:08.1.
Mount Union will next compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional at Franklin College in Shelbyville, Indiana on Saturday, November 10.
